As young adults with disabilities age out of state education systems, they become segregated with minimal opportunities for employment, community involvement and inclusive living.

Our Mission
The Hive exists to foster inclusive communities where every member can grow, find purpose and thrive.
OUR FUTURE VISION
Once the building process is complete, The Hive will offer apartments with integrated community supports through our partnerships for people who want or need them. Current collaborations include an onsite medical clinic run by nurse practitioners, a pharmacy and caregiving agency. Other amenities include a computer room, gym, sensory room, meeting rooms, coffee shop, daycare and dental lab training center.
WE ARE NOT WAITING ON A BUILDING
Programming started in June 2022 to begin the process of community building centered on inclusion and to grow our membership. We offer Caregiver B.E.E. Groups, Disability B.E.E. Groups, enrichment classes and social events. Location: Bayshore Baptist Church, 3111 W. Morrison Ave, Tampa, Fl.
